Notes: The photo was probably shot with a small aperture (F8.0 or larger to ensure that no part of the image went out of focus). As this is a relatively low light photo the ISO probably had to be increased slightly to keep the shutter speed high. This is to prevent the fast moving waves from becoming blurry in the background.

January 2017, Week 1:

So I was ecstatic when I flipped through my archives and found this gem from the Quiraing! 3 years ago I had been unable to edit this and ignored the composition, but it seems I got a second chance.
I had come for the Old Man of Storr, but after trudging through the misty rain and whipping winds of the Trotternish region I never made it to the spot. At the time, I hadn’t seen this view of the Quiraing, so I snapped the shot without much notice just before hiking up the steep slope into “The Table” at the top.
